This is what Paul decided to call our little 24 hour jaunt down to St. George on Monday. On Friday I was listening to the news while driving to school when I heard the forecast for the weekend. 65 in St. George!!! I decided that we needed a break. After doing some convincing, (when I say convincing, I mean I merely mentioned that it would be warm enough to play hours of tennis) we decided to leave after we taught our primary class and head down. Luckily we have some good friends in Hurricane that let us stay with them. Thanks Lichfields! We had a blast. AND we are wearing shorts. This picture was taken in the morning... it got so warm that we got sunburned. Which was my only goal. We had fun looking for random tennis courts to use and ended up playing on two different ones. One thing we've noticed since we got married is that we spend less time together now than we did while we were dating; so it was nice to spend a lot of time together! My suspicions have been confirmed. I'm ready for summer.

My Purse Contents...
Do I carry a purse? Hmmm. Rarely. Usually because I have never gotten in the habit of it. I usually stick my debit card in my back pocket and I'm good to go. However, I got this purse for Christmas and have rather liked it:) And since I was tagged, I dumped its contents. Here goes.
A random, lone, and dirty sock. I have no clue how this got in here and why it still remains.
Propel packets- I love these because I love Gatorade, just not the sugar thats in them. This way you can make Propel at a moments notice, and it can be as diluted or as strong as your heart desires.
I've been working on this book for about a year. It is so awesome--- I just rarely have time to read outside school stuff.
So... thats it. I'm not terribly intriguing. Sorry Emily:)
In Case You're Wondering...
Just in case you're wondering... I only have 17 more days of teaching left before my student teaching is DONE. Thats 136 hours. But who's counting? I love my class... BUt kids are so naughty these days!

Too Much Snow!!!
This is our tree. Still up in our family room.
Being a fire hazard. At least it's undecorated. :)
We spent the weekend watching my brothers and sister swimming at the Sr. State Club swim meet. The boys
(the 2nd and 4th my brothers) set a new state record. If you're offended by the uniform close your eyes:)
My brother Michael swimming the 100 breaststroke, sister Morgan swimming the 500 (thats 20 laps!!!) and McKay swimming something. I'm not sure what this picture is of.

My dad and Michael and the 3 oldest
Poor Paul. I wonder when he'll get sick of me dragging him to swim meets...
Paul and I have been driving by ENORMOUS mounds of snow and wanted to document them before they melted. (We really probably have until May or June before it does...)
This was the biggest one we could find.
We became a little juvenile and poured colored water on the mound. It ended up looking like pee and blood...
so we quickly shuffled snow around to hide the evidence. But not before we wrote our name in one of the banks>)
PS that's a fence. Covered by snow.
We've had enough of the snow. We're going to St. George to play tennis. Adeu!

A Blogger's Block
I saw this post with the end tagging all those with bloggers block... thats me.
10 Years Ago: I was 12 almost 13. Probably one of my most awkward phases. At the young age of 12 I was already the oldest of 7 and had been changing diapers for 4 years.
Snacks I enjoy: I love trail mix and candy corn. Not together. I also love those little sour cherries (candy) and flavored tootsie rolls. Gushers too. I obviously spend too much of my time eating junk.
5 Things on My To Do List: 1. Endure my final 26 days of student teaching. 2. (ahem) Start my senior work sample. 3. Sell my car 4. Get health insurance. 5. Finish student teaching. Did I say that already?
Things I would do if I became a billionaire: buy brand new cars from a dealership:), travel to someplace that is perpetually warm, buy a new house, buy a ton of new sporting equipment, and pay for the upcoming medical school expenses. Oh, and pay for past ones:)
3 Bad Habits I have: 1. biting my nails. I have to keep hand sanitizer around and apply every 5 seconds because I am around nose-picking 5th graders all day. 2. Constantly leaving my clothes behind the bathroom door. It bugged my mother to death and I'm sure it bugs my husband but he is too nice to say anything about it. I actually went into my room the other day to find him putting my laundry that had been sitting in a basket for almost a week away. 3. Procrastinating. See Sr. Project Reference in question 2.
5 Places I have lived: Orem (currently) Provo, and American Fork, Utah.
Jobs I have Had: CNA for Alpine Home Care, Swimming coach, swimming lessons instructor,
Things people don't know about me: I compete on the UVSC track and field team in the field department. I throw the weight in the winter and the discus and hammer in the spring. I spend 95%of my time being cold. I read physiology and business books for fun. I used to think I was a really good speller but now that I'm teaching 5th grade I constantly second guess the spelling of every word. My family members are my best friends. I love the innocence of little kids, especially 5-6 year olds. I hate to cook and I pretty much make the same 8 things and just cycle them so it doesn't seem like I am making the same 8 things...
I forward this tag to others who are experiencing bloggers block due to insufficient activity in their lives.
