The baby sister joined us and begged to run, but since she has a big swim meet this week, she was subject to a morning of brother-in-laws company. Brigg and Paul were not up for running. They were still great supporters!

First Race of the Year
My sisters and I donned our running tights and braved the freezing canyon temperatures Saturday morning for the Rex Lee Run at BYU. The Rex Lee Run is a general cancer run and we were able to run in memory of family friend, Bronson Willard, who passed away last month after a long and painful battle with Osteosarcoma. Bronson's favorite color was orange so we all wore orange ribbons in our hair.
This is Amanda, Bronson's sister, and I before the race. Obviously very cold.
3/4 of my sisters and I. All with very tired eyes and once again cold bodies.
After the race... we were warm by then:)

Dryer no more
As I was blow-drying my hair this morning, I paused to think of how long I've had this particular dryer. I thought in my mind, "Wow- I've had this thing since I started college! Its been almost 6 years!" I also thought of how much I loved it and how I'd never want another one. Just then, not 5 seconds later, I smelled the most rank, burning hair and metal smell. It was true. My lovely dryer is no more. And I have some weird kind of ESP.
