Our Primary Class...

This picture sums up our entire class....
We took pictures of the kids so we could make a Mother's Day craft of some sort...yet to be determined. "Smile!" I said. He may or may not have understood.

Finally!!!

It seems like forever since I donned a cap and gown at American Fork High School 5 (5!?) years ago... and really it has been. But, after long last, it has happened. I have graduated from college! In the middle of it all, I wondered with every reflection, lesson plan, group project/presentation was worth it... now that its over, I'm so glad I just bit the bullet and jumped through all of the hoops. My favorite part? It was short and Mr. Clark, my high school principle, transferred to UVSC a few years ago and was there for my second graduation. Cool.

Happy Birthday to me:)

I'll admit it- nothing makes me happier than my birthday. And although I turned 23 on April 4th, over 3 weeks ago, I have been too lazy to post anything. It was a fantastic day... other than the track meet I had to go to. That wasn't so fun. My parents were out of town so my brother Michael and sister Melynne took me to Bajio for lunch. And they brought me these tulips and "m" shaped cookies :) Paul surprised me with my dinner of choice- chicken salad croissants from Costco (They were sooooooo good.) Then we had some good friends come over for cake and ice cream.

Per request my father-in-law made sourdough pancakes the next morning...(my birthday extends to 3 days of celebration)

The next day my mom made my favorite thing ever- homemade lasagna. And call me a baby- but I asked my mom to make me a soccer ball cake:)

Rounding Third...Headed for Home!!!

Today was my very last day of school at dear old UVSC... and to use a metaphor I have come to know and love, it was like going to the dentist the day before your birthday. Meaning; in order for something totally and completely awesome to happen, you have to get all of your teeth pulled out just before. So on the one hand, you really want your birthday. On the other hand, getting your teeth pulled out is painful and not fun at all. This probably makes absolutely no sense, but in real world terms, I had to complete my Senior Project and portfolio and hand them both in today before I would be granted completion of the program.

I have no teeth left, but on the bright side, its my birthday on Friday!
